Dear Parents
AFA Barn Dance: The new committee needs your family’s support for their first event of the year! They have hired the hall in Hutton Moor leisure centre & with tickets at only £3 per head (adults and children), a good night out is guaranteed! Ask your family, friends and neighbours to join you in creating a real party atmosphere on your table. Complete the slip below to request tickets.
School Pond & garden: This newly refurbished area was officially opened on Monday morning (watch Weston Mercury for pictures). Have you seen it yet? We will be holding a special open day for parents before and after school tomorrow – Thursday 10 November between 8.30-9.15 and 3.00-3.30. Please come along and see for yourself this exciting project.
Gardening plea: With our new greenhouse and raised beds in the garden, we would like to develop growing activities for all age groups. If you have any spare/unused garden tools, equipment, bulbs, seeds, plants, we would be very grateful; for any donations at any time.
Fund raising update: The Clothes for a Cause collection organised by Mrs Skeen on 14th October raised £262.50 for school funds. Another collection will be announced after Christmas.
Term 1 Shining Star & Improvement certificate winners: Last week the 28 winners enjoyed a great day out at Wookey Hole. The winners were;
